Exclusive event at NRW-Forum Düsseldorf brings together opinion leaders, art, and open exchange on modern intimacy

Düsseldorf, Germany / Wasserbillig, Luxembourg, April 2026

The exhibition SEX NOW at the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf served as the venue for an event hosted by pjur and ORION Versand on April 10, 2026, including an accompanying evening program for selected opinion leaders from the German-speaking region. The focus was on the orgasm gap as a socially relevant topic, explored and brought to life within the context of modern intimacy and sexual wellness in an inspiring cultural setting.

The SEX NOW exhibition at NRW-Forum Düsseldorf provides the cultural framework for an open dialogue on desire, diversity, and education. In this context, the event offered an ideal platform for exchange with opinion
leaders who actively engage with topics related to intimacy, health, equality, and self-determination.

Dialogue on the orgasm gap in a cultural context

More than 20 opinion leaders accepted the invitation from pjur and ORION and were given exclusive insights into the exhibition as part of the event. A central element was a panel discussion on the orgasm gap, moderated by Birte Fulde, Head of Brand Marketing at ORION. In an open exchange, the orgasm gap was framed as a socially relevant issue and examined from multiple perspectives. The dialogue within the exhibition context created space for new ideas and a nuanced discussion of intimacy, equality, and self-determination.

Brand experience between art and education

The integration of the event into the exhibition created an authentic setting in which pjur and ORION Versand were able to bring their perspective as sexual wellness brands on topics such as sexuality, health, and equality to life, while actively engaging with individuals who shape and drive these conversations.

The direct exchange with opinion leaders made it possible to carry insights from the event into relevant public discourse, thereby strengthening brand perception in a sustainable way.

The diversity of guests highlighted the thematic breadth of the event. From medical experts and journalists to influential voices within the sexual wellness community, as well as creators and KOLs addressing topics such as equality, self-determination, and respect, a wide range of perspectives came together. Representatives from the queer community also enriched the dialogue, making the complexity of the topic tangible.

„The openness and quality of the exchange made this event truly stand out. Diverse perspectives came together and highlighted just how relevant the orgasm gap is in a broader societal context. For us as a brand, it is essential to actively help shape spaces like this and to continue advancing the dialogue around intimacy and self-determination,” says Jennifer Parry, Brand Director at pjur.

A shared dinner in the evening additionally provided space for more in-depth conversations, personal encounters, and further exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.

Part of a broader cultural dialogue

As an official sponsor of the SEX NOW exhibition, pjur is part of a cultural format that highlights socially relevant issues and opens new perspectives. The event seamlessly integrated into this environment, creating a connection between brand, art, and community.
