On April 16, 2026, the RTL Reality Awards 2026 took place in Bonn, celebrating the biggest stars and most emotional moments of the German reality world. The award show was held at the Maritim Hotel Bonn and broadcast live via co-streaming on RTL+ and BILD, including the red carpet from 7:00 p.m. and the award ceremony from 8:15 p.m.
The awards honored the most popular reality formats and personalities from TV and streaming, sending a strong signal for the growing importance of reality TV as an integral part of pop culture.

The event brought together numerous well-known faces from the German reality and entertainment scene. Guests included stars from formats such as Are You The One, Love Island, Temptation Island, as well as other well-known reality personalities and creators from the German social media and streaming scene.As part of the audience voting via bild.de/realityawards, winners were chosen in a total of twelve categoriesThese included categories such as Lovestory of the Year, Beef of the Year, Drama Queen of the Year, Red Flag of the Year, Sexytime of the Year, as well as Reality Star of the Year (Female and Male).The awards reflect the biggest emotional, entertaining and viral reality moments of the year.Voting took place between April 6 and April 13, 2026.
Winners of the Reality Awards
During the event, the winners of this year’s RTL Reality Awards were announced on site. In the category Lovestory of the Year, Tara Tabitha and Dennis Lodi took the award, while Gigi Birofio and Paulina Ljubas were honored with Beef of the Year. Aleks Petrovic received the award for Red Flag of the Year and, together with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Nwattu, also won Breakup of the Year. Ariel was named Reality Star of the Year in the female category, while Fritz Wagner took home the title in the male category.

The evening was hosted once again by Sophia Thomalla and Olivia Jones, who brought humor, entertainment and reality expertise to the stage, creating an entertaining mix of glamour, emotion and entertainment.
